Year 5 enjoyed a visit to Salisbury Museum on Tuesday.

There are Saxon displays there, so of course we wanted to feast our eyes on real life artefacts.  We could also follow the British timeline from the earliest Stone Age residents to the last (Norman) invasion.

As well as that, we were looking closely at what goes into curating a museum.  How are exhibits displayed? What information goes with them? How is a whole collection organised?  How can you keep the visitor engaged?
