A visit from Aaron Phipps

Wow! What an inspirational and motivating visit we were treated to. Aaron plays wheelchair rugby for team GB and represented GB in London 2012, as well as competing in the London marathons and more recently being the first disabled British person who has climbed Kilimanjaro without assistance. He is now training for Tokyo 2020.

As well as telling us all about his adventures the key messages of never giving up on a goal and having a growth mindset were inspirational.

Aaron gave us his 4 steps to succes:
– Set a goal
– Get organised
– Ask for help
– Work hard

We know many of the children came home to share Aarons story and we know his messages will come through in the childrens own lives.
