Year 5 have started investigating what it takes to construct a hat.

Our challenge was to make a working hat in order to identify the different components and how they fit together.

We have also thought about the shape and style we are after.

Some of us have started taking measurements and tomorrow is a big day in terms of trying to make our own pattern pieces.

All stations go – we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible for our hat show on the last day of term.
